Web Developer Internship
Location
Preferably Rome (Italy) but we can consider remote working.
Description
We are looking for a Web Developer intern to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work on real projects, gaining hands-on experience with the latest technologies and the most popular content management systems.
Requirements
- Absolute love for the web;
- Proactive and independent attitude, as you’re expected to provide solutions, work alone and be a source of inspiration to everybody else in the team;
- Good knowledge of WordPress and PHP;
- Experience with the main frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS3, Vanilla Javascript);
- Basic knowledge or academic experience with Python or React would be a plus;
- Familiarity with other cms: Drupal, MODx, Shopify or other would be a plus;
- Strong desire to learn and ability to work in a team;
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining websites and applications using PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Working with front-end frameworks to create responsive and intuitive user interfaces.
- Implementing and customizing themes and plugins for CMS such as WordPress, Drupal, and Shopify.
- Collaborating with the development and design team to plan, design, and launch new features.
- Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues.
- Explore new technologies, with a particular focus on the latest developments in artificial intelligence.
