The creative challenge
To frame the fossil fuel industry as criminal, highlighting green washing, we created a video that sticks in the minds of our audience (millennials with children and Generation Z). But how to overcome the difficulty of being relevant in social media with climate content? We did it, thanks to a fake TikTok in a grotesque tone of voice with a daily routine posted on Greenpeace social.
Just because they act like normal does not mean they are not criminals.
As a follow-up to the ‘Say hello to our children’ campaign, we designed and shooted the video ‘Fossil crime’: seemingly the classic content created by an influencer, in reality, a narrative highlighting the contradictions of industry that is in fact destroying life on the planet.
